Step 1: Choose Your Pen Pal

On the Mail Club page, choose the magical pen pal your child would like to write to.

Children can currently write to:

🐈 Auntie Maeve — The Cat Lady of the Forest

Membership is $10 per month, and each month your child will receive a letter from their chosen character.

Written in a storybook style for all ages

Our letters are written in a rich, descriptive style that grows with your child. Younger children can enjoy them as a read-aloud experience, while independent readers can explore and respond on their own.

Step 2: A Letter Arrives

Each month, a magical letter is mailed from our studio in Toronto.

​

Every letter includes:

• a story or message from the character
• thoughtful questions
• collectible art card

Letters are personalized with your child’s name and designed to make writing feel exciting and meaningful.

Step 3: Your Child Writes Back

After reading the letter, your child can respond in their own way.

​

They might send:

• a letter
• drawings
• answers to the questions
• a story of their own

​

There are two ways to send a reply:

📷 Upload a photo using the Parent Portal on our website

Uploading a photo ensures we can read your child’s letter even if the mail is delayed.

Step 4: A Reply Arrives

The following month, your child will receive a new letter from their pen pal that continues the story.

When your child writes back, their response will be read and answered within the next letter whenever possible.

This ongoing exchange helps children build confidence in their writing while becoming part of a magical story.​
